Annual Wreath Laying Ceremony for General Ray Davis' Birthday

January 13th is General Raymond Davis, US Marines (RET) birthday. Every year to commemorate and honor General Davis we, the members of the MCCCGA and the Atlanta Marine Community, gather at his grave site, lay a standing wreath and say a few words including a prayer for General Davis. This year we will gather this coming January 13 at 1100 for this annual ceremony. The location is the Forest Lawn Cemetery, 5755 Mallory Rd, College Park, GA. Once on Mallory Rd go to the 3rd entry into the cemetery and his gravesite will be about 250’ on the left.

General Davis is the founder of the MCCCGA and our MCCCGA Golf Tournament is named in his honor. He is also the most highly decorated Marine in the history of our Corps! It is fitting that we as Marines honor his service to our Corps and Country. See you there!
